Weight loss day 1

Today, I've decided whole heartedly to change my life, to get in shape. I've been slacking on it. I took and aerobics class and I ate a bunch of crap. I'm changing it. Today I woke up by 9 a.m. I ate a protein shake and an apple. I rode my bike about 1.5 miles to Church ate a piece of ham, a little piece of cake, some baked beans, and a little dumpling. I drank 1 750 ML bottle of water this morning. I also rode my bike home from chuch. For dinner I ate some sushi. For a snack I had some watermelon. I helped my grandpa pick up sticks in the yard and move a bunch of stuff around outside. I came inside and drank a glass of plain black iced tea then decided i wanted to do Turbofire. I did Core 20 and Stretch 40. As of today I'm wearing a size 10 pants, my bust is a 32 GG. I haven't measured my thighs, arms, calves, or anything else, that'll come tomorrow. 

This picture really hit me when i saw it. My double chin has always been something i'm bothered by but i didnt know how bad it was until this was taken. My bottom half looks super small compared to my top half. I'm very busty but still.
I can and will do this. 

Last Post

I dont know how I feel about this being my last blog post. I'm going to miss this class a whole lot. It was probably the best class to take in my first semester. It was medium level class compared to the others, i loved it. I made lots of new friends, had a teacher who will be willing to help me even next year, and skills that I didnt have before. Some of the projects I hated but I pushed through it, I did it. I  can't believe my first semester as a freshman is over. My last exam is Tuesday at 12 p.m. Where did the year go?

Pearl Harbor Project

I was originally expecting this project to be extremely hard, then I actually read it over. I actually like this. I cant wait to write the narrative part. I like getting creative and using my imagination to write a project. I am pretty nervous thought because my computer charger decided to stop working so I have to finish the annotated bib on Sunday when i get my computer back. I had a lot of fun in this class, I will miss it!

This weekend!

So I had a really good time this weekend. I made a lot of new friends and saw a lot of people I already know. I got to have a one on one with Delta Chi , which is where my sorority goes over to the frat and hangs out! they're my favorite frat. It's always a good time with them. Now its on to homework and sleeping until tomorrow! After my sorority meeting, that is. But the sorority meeting should only last a little while, one of our girls is going alum though, so that is whats going to take the longggggest.

So this paper..

I'm still a little confused on this paper and what to do. I know how to do the anontated bib, but i dont exactly know what to look up. I know we have to do a personal narrative too. I can do that too if I had a better understanding of what i'm doing. Maybe i just need to look up more on Pearl Harbor or something. I think I would have rather written a one to two page summary on Henrietta Lacks. I'll get through it. It wont kill me, i just have to try harder i guess!

AOII active member!

It's official. I'm officaially an AOII active memeber. Last friday we were inititaed. Inititation took about an hour and a half. Then we went to red robin. The ding dongs at red robin forgot to reserve our seats. imagine 75 girls trying to get seats at red robin, it took forever! I was so mad. It was late and starving, it took about 45 minutes to get food! but on the good side I can wear my AOII letters! mybig spoiled me big time! I love my big!

My Genre for the next assignment..

I’m really excited to do this project. I have to analyze twenty personal letters. I want to research and look at letters from the WWII era. I think that would be so cool! Reading about what the person is going through, whether or not they miss home, or if home misses them. I have personal letters from my big and my aunt also. Comparing the genres of these letters is going to be extremely cool. I’ll probably find other genres but old personal notes are going to be the most fun since I didn’t live in that era and I didn’t ever experience what they did.

New member..not for long!

This weekend I had my new member retreat for my sorority. I love all of my sisters. We had so much fun. We fit 16 girls in 2 holiday inn rooms; we went swimming and ate a lot of junk food. We get initiated this weekend Friday. I am so excited. I can’t wait to get my first pair of letters, to not be a new member, and to be able to eat in the sorority house whenever I want! There is so much going on this week and I’m stoked. I am in love with my sorority and I can’t wait to be an Alpha Omicron Pi for life<3

Fairytale

I thought this fairytale was going to kill me. But when I sat down and put my mind to it and chugged it out. I absolutely love my story. It has everything in it we needed. Maybe except for the happy ending, but if a child is learning his/her lesson, how can the ending be happy? I don’t know where the idea came along. I actually just started typing and hoped for the best! I thought that it would be hard because every fairytale has been written before. But I guess not because I did it. A whole page and a quarter. I rocked it!

Thanksgiving in the Windy City..

Thanksgiving, I can definitely say I’m super stoked for it. We go to Chicago every year and I love it. No matter what we do it’s always fun. We have been to all of the museums in Chicago. We go to Millennium Park and see the big bean. We’ve been to the Willis (Sears) tower.  We’ve done it all. We go to the Lincoln Park Zoo for the lighting of the zoo lights. For all of you who don’t know Michigan Avenue is a big deal and that’s where we stay. On the 9^th floor with a kitchenette and make all of our food. We have make-shift Thanksgiving dinner, honey glazed ham, biscuits, corn, macaroni, and some type of desert. I love it. I’m totally excited for this year.

This paper..

This paper. I hate research papers but this one is easy peasy! I can write papers as long as it something I like. The song I chose is something that is really close to me. But I hate doing the peer reviews because I feel like I’m being too harsh. If you follow directions though, I wouldn’t have to be like that (: sorry if I offended anyone reviewing their paper. I tried to be nice, got to do what I got to do. I hope our next paper is about something cool, like a fiction story! Something I can use my imagination for!  

RICO!

I got a new fish. My old one died): he was a gift from a cousin who had him for a really long time, and I’m pretty sure he was addicted to marijuana because of her.  He needed to go but it was such a sad day when Gerald died. I texted my suitemate and told her. She promised to get me a new one. His name is Rico and he’s so lively, unlike Gerald. So far Rico has been living under my care for about a week, we’re going strong! RIP Gerald! Hello healthy Rico(:!

Annotated Bibliography

I definitely thought this lovely paper we are currently working on was going to be super hard. Little did I know, because apparently I’m doing great! I got 25 out of 30 on my annotated bibliography and I have a 99% in the whole class. Man, am I feeling on top of the world right now. I called and told my whole family about my new found grade. My grandpa of course said if you can get 99 you can get 100! But otherwise everyone else was happy(: OH BOY OH BOY I know I can keep this up(: on top of the world right now(:

Getting to stay in class because I did the assignment?

So, here we are in class. It feels like forever but then she asks everyone who didn’t read to leave? Pssht. I actually read. I was taught to always do my homework, because something like this always happens! But I got extra credit so who cares (: I love this class and I like only having 7 people in it for once. It felt much more intimate. This is a prime example of YOLO, do your homework and you get extra credit. Yolo. Do your assignment and get asked to stay in class and get on the professors good side, Yolo!

Cedar Point..What if you can't "ride on"?

I decided today would be a great day to go to cedar point. I had free tickets, and it's school season. So we woke up early, get there at 12 because of some construction but it was all hunky dory. The line for the Millennium Force says 1 hour and 45 minutes. Why not that’s short, right? Wrong!! 1 hour and 45 minutes turns into 2, which turns into 3. That’s the only ride we rode. The others had the same wait. Why. This is ridiculous. It isn’t even like this in the middle of the summer. Free tickets make up for the gas. What a terrible idea. Man. What were we thinking? Cedar Point you can’t “ride on”..

This is how I really feel..

Oh jeeze. This blog is going to be a rant. I absolutely hate copy cats. Especially people who hate something until you like it then they love it! Hypocrites they just drive me bananas. I try my hardest to not be a hypocrite, everyone is. Not to this extent. My mom always says imitation is the best form of flattery, not here. I absolutely dislike it! (I’m trying to cut back on the word hate). But seriously, I know I’m not alone here. I know other people feel the very same way. Especially when its someone you’re really close with and thought you could trust.

Football and Hockey in one day?!

Yesterday I attended the football game, and then went to the hockey game at 7. What a long day. The day started at like 12 we went to the game and only stayed until half-time. Our good friends were so drunk that we had to take them home and take care of them. They were trying to beat each other up... not a good time! We missed the whole second half. We came back to the dorm to take care of them and that was a riot. Puking and sleeping. Finally they were okay. Soa friend and I went to the hockey game. That was sooo fun! I’ve never been to hockey before. Fighting and penalties and a shoot out! Best hockey game ever!

My narrative

To all the people who read my story. Thank you so much. You guys helped my confidence on this paper totally. I was so afraid of not getting it done or having the story be completely boring. I realized I just have to put my mind to it. I realized even if a situation is bad, as long as you try, you can create something beautiful.  It was so hard to get my thoughts out on that paper.
